I attended the Detail King two day technician seminar and it was well worth it. The first day was dedicated to starting, organizing and growing your auto detailing business. Second day involved practical demonstrations by experts and then the students got to practice interior and exterior detailing in 3 teams. There was a lot going on and a lot of people — I think at least 5 to a team — but everybody got a chance to use the equipment and work on every aspect of the detailing. The instructors were skilled, competent and patient. We had a lot of questions and they answered all of them. I got to see how their products worked on the cars that we worked on. I also had good people in my class — the students were mostly all business owners themselves and they all said they learned a lot. I highly recommend detailing for training and products.
I attended the two day Technician training seminar offered by Detail King and I came away with valuable knowledge from the business side of detailing and the labor side as well. My main reason for attending the training was to learn the tools of the trade for the labor aspect but the business portion was just as valuable.
As an avid user of social media, learning how to leverage that for a marketing advantage is something I hope to use to a great extent for our business. Just seeing the different ways you can market your business and the different ares you can tap into to create customers was a huge takeaway for me.
From the labor aspect, using the different tools and chemicals on an actual vehicle helped me become more comfortable with the trade and taught me the proper way to detail without damaging a car and possibly hurting your reputation as a business.
Using the different tools and chemicals also allowed me to narrow down what work best and what tools to buy to start our business. Knowing how to properly use the different soaps and brushes will go a long way in building our business going forward. I graduated May 2018.
At first I didn’t really know what to expect since I do not have a background in business or car detailing. Day 1, as soon as I drove up to Detail King I was welcome with a friendly face and a smile! That definitely helped calm the nerves a little bit, so I entered the building and it was good positive vibes all around.
Great atmosphere from everyone, not once did I feel “dumb” for asking a certain question Detail King’s level of expertise and professionalism really shows on how they answer any questions you have and come giving you multiple solutions to fix the problem. They really put you to hard work, if you’re not willing to work hard during this training do not waste your type.
This car detailing class is the real deal, whatever you want to learn about they will teach you. I HIGHLY recommend this class, once I get my business up and going I will send my employees here to train. I graduated June 2018.
