I attended the Detail King Craftsman Auto Reconditioning Seminar on May 5-7, 2017. The seminar was exactly what I was looking for. It provided me with great information concerning the business start up and marketing aspects that will help me with getting established and having an effective marketing plan.

The hands on exterior and interior detailing training was great and I learned more than I thought I would. The information was clearly presented and demonstrated and the skills I learned will allow me to be more effective and efficient in my detailing which will lead to better productivity and profits.

This auto detailing class by Detail King far exceeded expectations ! I got a lot of knowledge on business and new ideas to grow my auto detailing company. Plenty of hands on training and the detailing trainer’s and staff are super friendly so you always feel welcome I can’t wait to send my staff to train with Detail King. I have an addiction type passion for car detailing, so I decided to go to the only place that would bring out the best detailer in me. Detail King! The business portion of the class held on the first day was definitely an eye opener for me. They teach you everything you need to know on how to run and operate your own detailing business.

The exterior detailing training portion of the class held on the second day was awesome, I learned things I thought I knew but was doing them wrong prior to the class and Detail King’s staff were always there to help and correct me. The third and final day we worked on the interior of the car we were assigned to. It was pretty fun working with all of the different detailing tools that make a world of a difference using the right tools for the job.

If you have a passion for auto detailing, or you’re a professional detailer for years, or a weekend warrior, Detail King is place is for you. I recently completed the completed the Detail King 3-day Craftsman Auto Detailing Training program. From the moment I saw Nick Vacco’s hair style, I knew this guy meant business. Yeah, you can look on youtube to learn things, but if you have questions, it sure is wonderful having a live instructor and hands on training. I would recommend anyone interested in having a like-new vehicle and putting a smile on a customers face to go to Pittsburgh and go through the skill training. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Nick Vacco and the Detail King crew were awesome, I gained so much knowledge from the auto detailing training course that I feel a lot more comfortable about starting my own detailing business weather it be mobile or stationary.

I have gotten 3 request’s for detailing jobs since I got home from the training class 1 day ago that has what the training course at Detail King has done for me. Detailing has always been a weekend warrior hobby of mine and now will be my second career since retiring early. It feels great to know that I can count on Detail King for help in getting my business up and rolling and keep it growing.

I attended the May 5-7th 2017 Detail King Craftsman Course. In my previous career field, in which I am now retired, I was an instructor, course writer, and an evaluator; it is just natural for me to go into a training scenario and critique the course. One thing that immediately stuck out about the Craftsman detailing training course was the professionalism of both the atmosphere and staff that conducts the class. Within minutes of walking through the door, you know you made the right choice if your agenda is getting into the auto dealing industry.

The course agenda is very well laid out and taught. Day 1 is all about getting into the business, which wasn’t my main focus (I signed up to make sure I was doing auto detailing correctly) but by the end of the day, I was definitely more comfortable/confident about this concept. Day 2 was what I was there for – exterior detailing. We were split into 2 groups and were taught every step of detailing, from the car pulling up to the spot, all the way to rolling out of the lot. All instruction was hands-on – techniques, tips, tricks. You will learn a lot of info and you will be doing it on a vehicle.

Same thing with Day 3, only it is interior cleaning and detailing training. They will pile on the information. The one thing that can’t be mentioned (and thanked) enough, was the helpfulness of the staff. Extremely knowledgeable and always willing to jump in. This is where I think Detail King really has their act together and sets themselves apart from other courses. To say they have employees/staff is an understatement, they have a culture and they are proud of it. If you have a question, they not only have the answer, they want to pump you full of everything about their answer.

Throughout the course, I not once thought they are doing this because it is their job, they are doing it because they are passionate about it. In a big way, their passion on the hands-on days ties the Day 1 business side into the whole course. Funny, you will notice from the start, the Detail King logo is plastered everywhere, and after spending the 2 days of hands on with the staff, you put them together with the logo and think, I am glad I am part of this. Whole business concept. Great Job guys!!

I went to the Detail King Craftsman Auto Reconditioning Training Seminar April 21-23, 2017. I had been to Detail King in 2016 for the Technician Seminar. My detailing business seemed to double after going to the Technician Seminar as a result of what I learned. I came back for the Craftsman Seminar because of the auto reconditioning training and services they teach and thought I would be able to provide those services to my clients. I got a lot more out of it than I expected. Some of it was a review since I had been to the Technician Seminar.

The auto reconditioning training classes were very helpful for me to go over everything I knew again, I now feel a lot more confident. There were some areas where I wasn’t sure if I was using the right techniques so it helped me to see what I was doing right and where I could improve. Everyone at Detail King was very helpful, always had answers to my questions, and were very knowledgeable.

The Detail King Team teaches you a lot more than just how to recondition a car. They teach you how to run an auto reconditioning business, how to register your business name, get all the right permits and licenses, and how to market a business. I would recommend this class to anyone, even if you’ve had a lot of experience detailing cars.

I really liked the Craftsman 3 day auto detailing training seminar at the Detail King facility. I’m new to auto detailing. I learned so much about detailing techniques, products, tools and the business model with Nick Vacco and the Detail King team. Evaluate. Check for damage. Determine brushes and chemicals. Compounds, waxes and coatings. Oooh, my head is spinning. It really was before I spent the weekend training with Nick Vacco and his Detail King team. Pros. Every man there a Pro. Question about detailing? Great, go train for the weekend. The trainers don’t just tow the line for towing the lines sake. They are detailers. They tell you the procedure, then they tell you what they do in the real world in a situation like, X.

I just felt like I was in the shop working. Much, much, much (you get it) nicer shop than mine, but just the shop. I absolutely loved it. Oh, and I have taken other training at other big name places. They are awesome. They all know so much. Nick will boil it all down for ya. Heck, he’s probably got a kit for getting your butt squared away, too. Or, he’ll get with his guys that do his mixing and see what they can come up with. Intensive. Fun.

And the food. Chicken breasts that you cut with a plastic picnic fork. Nick better keep up his game, now. Chicken. Saturday. You guys gotta cut that wizard of oz reference out of the beginning. Funny though, right? No. I guess it wasn’t. Later. Lunch time. I want some of that chicken with the gravy on it.

This past weekend (April 21-23 – 2017) I attended Detail King’s three day craftsmen auto detailing course, I am writing this testimonial to tell how truly a life changing this course was for me. I have known for a while now that I wanted to start my own detailing business but recently I have been doubting myself, but after this weekend I have absolutely no more doubts.

The Detail King Team was extremely helpful and answered any question that I had. They also introduced me to new detailing equipment types that I have never heard of before. I had such an incredible experience not only learning new things but also meeting so many great people who share the same interest as me.

I recommend this course for anyone who needs motivation and wants to meet a lot of great people. I can’t wait to return and take more courses in the future. Thank you Nick Vacco and the Detail King Team for such an incredible weekend.

Choosing Detail King was the best auto detailing school choice for me. I learned what I needed to know at the auto detailing classes. Detail King provides all the detailing tools it takes to be a an auto detailing business owner. Detail King is the best hand-on training school that delivers what it takes to get the job right. I loved it and it was fun being at Detail King. I graduated from the Craftsman program April 2017.

Just completed my Craftsman auto detailing course at Detail King and I must say it was great. Day 1, was the business side and I must say it is a must if you are thinking about getting into the detailing industry. I’ve been professionally detailing for about 6 years and they have enlightened me to new ways to market, advertise, cross sell & up sell above what I had already been doing. I really learned A LOT what I needed to know in the first day.

Day 2, was the exterior detail, they were very in depth and hands on with teaching new techniques and showing the different types of detailing equipment and detailing products available to help make exterior detailing quicker and easier with the right tools. Day 3, was the interior detail, which I am an attention to detail freak with the interior but they showed me some neat and helpful tools I can use to make interior cleaning a piece of cake.

All in all, the course was well worth the 23 hour bus ride from Florida and the price of the course. I would recommend this auto detailing course to anyone looking to start in the detailing industry or even if you are already in the industry and would like a refresher course. Nick Vacco and the Detail King crew were grade A. P.S. All of my future staff will be trained thru Detail King. I graduated April 2017.

The Detail King Training School was  a great opportunity for me to advance my business skills  and advance my knowledge. I learned not only the best way to detail cars on a professional basis but how to promote my detailing business through various marketing venues including facebook, Instagram, youtube and snapchat.

I was very impressed with every component of the Detail King auto detailing seminar program. I now am ready to start my mobile detailing business and have a head start! I graduated February from the Craftsman program 2017.
