Detail King without a doubt far exceeded my expectations for the training that I was looking for. From the very first day in the classroom and the detailed information covering the New Business Start-Up and understanding the demand from the public, to the different resources that are available to each of us, to having the flexibility to incorporating technology allowing the customers to have the ability to have several avenues for payment, to Branding the Business was outstanding.

The staff’s knowledge level of this business is proven with their own thriving business and for them to impart what they have learned to each one of us is great. The in-depth overview of having a thorough and complete Business Plan has proved very valuable to me and allowed me to go back and review my current plan and modify it to ensure that when presented to potential financial backers they will be willing to provide financial support. I now know that the more complete that plan is the better it will be for my business and help with long term success as well as opportunities for growth and/or partnerships in the future.

Keying on maximizing my time and evaluating who I am throughout the operation of this business as well as being flexible with my customer base definitely caused me to think about what I need to do. “Meeting the expectations by SETTING the expectations” is one of the many things that I took to heart. Coming from a background of service, I have a better understanding of the concept of servicing the customers in a service industry. Mr. Angell’s focus on Marketing and Procedures and following them through the detailing process truly resonate being prior military.

It was important then and even more important now that this is my livelihood. If you don’t set standards in your operations for your customers, employees and most of all yourself, you are doomed to fail and I don’t think any of the individuals that walk through the door of Detail King attends the school to fail. The hands-on training with all of the staff members was superior to anything that I had in mind. I really thought I knew what I was doing in detailing my own vehicles prior to coming to Detail King, and now I truly know what to look for, how to identify, correct, and protect for the long term, and provide my customers with the superior service that they are looking for from a detailer and ensure that they will come to trust the workmanship from this business.

To know that I can legitimately call myself a professional now and be confident in that title when interacting with customers means more to me than anyone can ever know. To now have an increased level of dedication and attention to detail when preparing a customers vehicle and providing them an exceptional level of experience and professionalism is now the priority and that is a result of the training received from each of you. I am a firm believer that God puts people in our lives for specific reasons, and I know that he placed each of you in my life to make me a better businessman from the inception and service provider and a more complete Detailer in this industry.

I cannot thank you enough for all of that you have done for me through this seminar/training and I can honestly say that Detail King has “Changed My Life”. Nick, I thank you personally for accommodating me throughout and giving the advice needed for me start-up and run my business and becoming a staple in the community. Awesome weekend, the Detail King staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of all car detailing aspects. Day 1 was very educational in the realm of owning and operating your own detailing business. President Nick Vacco has decades in this industry and he exudes industry wisdom. You can see his passion not only for the industry but for each individual in the class to excel in their personal ventures as it relates to the auto detailing world.

Day 2 involved hands on training from our instructors. My instructor was Dan, he was very professional and informative. We learned everything from paint correction to the correct way to clean a window. If you want to take your auto detailing business to the next level this is the place for you. I graduated from the March 2015 Technician Class.

I attended the Detail King 2 Day Auto Detailing Seminar not knowing what to expect and also being a weekend warrior car detailer. I was so amazed with the outcome of the weekend. Great weekend auto detailing training seminar at Detail King, it was very informative, looking forward to using the products used during the training seminar. Good marketing ideas too, great staff! We learned how to choose what polish, compound, pad and buffer should be used to correct various paintwork conditions. We also learned all the proper methods and procedures to professionally detail an automobile inside an out. I cannot say enough about how great this auto detailing course was. Detail King did a fantastic job outlining how to start and operate an auto detailing business on day one. On day two they gave us thorough training on how to detail a vehicle (inside and out). The instructors were top notch (ours even had his own detailing business) and had tremendous insight, tips, and tricks for detailing. The Detail King facility was immaculate and filled with state of the art equipment. We got to use and learn about various detailing tools and equipment.

Nick has an outstanding team working at Detail King. I highly recommend this to anyone who is considering opening a detailing business or even an enthusiast who is looking to take their detailing skills to the next level. My only regret is I could not stay in town longer. This was also the first time I used Detail King products for detailing. I was very happy with the performance of their products and plan to incorporate them into my detailing arsenal. I attended the March 2015 Technician Class.

Since I was able to drive at age 16 I always had a passion for cars. when I bought my first car I always kept it clean. Now at age 42 still to this day I always have a passion for cars. About 5 years ago I went to my buddy that owns a car stereo business called Sound So Good Car Audio in Waynesboro Pa and asked him about me starting my detailing business out of his shop and figure that would be a GREAT way to promote customers for him and myself. Since it has been getting more and more busy for me, I finally decided to take my business to the next notch and signed up for the March 2015 2 day Tech Class Seminar with Detail King.

Day 1: The business side of class very good learning experience Thanks to Nick and his Training staff that helped all of us get the knowledge on how to start and run an auto detailing business. It was a lot of info on the first day but I really enjoyed it and learned a lot and will put it to good use. Day 2: The hands on experience went really good. The training staff divided the class up into three different groups and showed us the correct way how to detail every section of the vehicle. If we had any questions trough the detailing steps the staff would stop and answer the questions for you. I learned so much that day that will help me speed up my detailing process since I am by myself. I recommend this Tech Class to anyone that wants to start up a detailing business or has a detailing business. Thanks Detail King Staff!

Fantastic auto detailing training seminar that was broken down into two very effective and beneficial parts. First day covered the marketing and business aspect of it. This will help many including myself- to develop my hobby into an actual business. The second day was very hands-on and was led by friendly knowledgeable trainers who took the time to answer all questions and actually taught rather than “putting on a demonstration.” I attended the March 2015 Technician Certification Program.

I found the seminar to be well planned and offered many avenues for ” follow up ” questions or issues that I may have. You come away with the impression that the people at Detail King really care about your success and want to partner with you as much as they can. The staff are friendly, accessible, and very genuine . I am just getting my detail business started but could not have imagined a better place to start and a better company to guide me through the process and partner with me in the future than Detail King. I’ve been looking for an auto detailing training course for a while now. I always had a passion for detailing automobiles since I was a kid growing up. I attended the March 2015 auto detailing seminar at Detail King and loved every Second off it, (This two day course was full off information) The first day was the business side of learning How to run and operate your business. They gave use information on advertising and how to get customer’s Business .

The second day off the detailing class was the hands on fundamentals off the polishers, compounds and cleaning tools. I’d gathered a lot off information that day too. Our trainer for the day was Alan Rich, which was great and very educated in the skills that we gathered, and answered any questions that we had in our group that day. I would recommend taking this auto detailing course, the Detail King staff was amazing to work with.

I’m sure many of us if not, all of us start out in this industry with a passion for cars, as do I. Since I was little I’ve been washing cars and learned the basics, thinking if all else failed I’d get into detailing when I was older. That’s not the case anymore… I’ve been studying Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University (coincidentally, right here in Pittsburgh) for the last 2 years and began my search for summer work again. I sent out tons of applications for low-paid internships, when a friend of mine (he’s 18 years old) mentioned getting into auto detailing. I thought about it and stumbled upon Detail King’s website.

I was reading through all of their training guides, catalogs, and business packages. Then I saw it: the Auto Detailing Training Seminars. I was so excited to find a place that would actually train you to succeed in auto detailing, and I signed up right away. Exhausted from school work, I drove on over from CMU both days for the March 2015 2-day Technician Course and was blown away. Day 1: As important as it I knew it would be, I was afraid I would fall asleep in the classroom presentations from working so late the week before. The material that Nick Vacco and his team presented and discussed had me on the edge of my chair the whole time. They went through practically the whole process of how to start your own company and how to get it going on the right path. The ideas they had for advertising, procedures… those alone were worth it. By the end of the day I was CONVINCED to start my own student detailing business this coming summer. Me, a 19 year old college student.

Day 2: was just as important and fun to be involved in. I was amazed by the tools DK uses and that, just in general, are available in the industry. It really took detailing to the next level, especially with Dave leading our team. He went through each product and tool and how to properly use them. It was just as valuable having to work with a team and learning how you could do it efficiently. DK has a very specific procedure that, to me, was extremely critical to being successful. I was very inspired by this course and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone interested with how to get started or even how to streamline your own detailing business.  I saw many of the other students traveled from all over the country looking to really fine tune their own businesses. I would like to first start off with saying the Detail King the staff was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming when the doors opened, making everybody feel as part of their family. From there Nick Vacco and the presenters of the auto detailing seminar were very knowledgeable. Kept your enthusiasm the whole way through. I learned so much on the business aspect side. I thought I was doing a decent job with it but you realize you can do so much more. For that I’m grateful.

The second day of the auto detailing seminar was all hands on. Great day for the person who wants to learn all they can new and old detailers I believe. I learned more than I thought I knew as well. All in all this was a terrific detailing class to take. Well worth the drive and time for me coming from IL. It absolutely blew away my expectations. I kept putting it off, but if you have the time it’s a must-do for the person either starting up, or is a seasoned veteran that has a detailing business. Thank you Detail King staff! The auto detail training at Detail King was very beneficial to me and my detailing business. It encouraged me to learn that many of the things I am currently doing are correct, and it helped me to realize that some of the methods I use could be taken to the next level with better techniques and products. The class room info on marketing was exactly what I was looking for.

I learned about some new auto detailing products and it was great to meet other guys in the same situation as I am in while beginning a new business. You guys did a great job communicating and were very organized. I never felt like any time was wasted. I attended the March 2015 Technician Class.

The Craftsman Auto Detailing Class at Detail King is a must for anyone getting into the auto detailing business, or anyone looking to enhance their existing auto detailing business. (I attended the March 2015 course.) The instructors have a vast wealth of knowledge that will prepare you to be a confident and successful auto detailer.

Also, I found the auto detailing business course to be an essential part of the curriculum. The continuing customer support that Detail King provides it’s entrepreneurs is wonderful! I’m looking forward to the Detail King Authorized Licensee Conferences!

WHAM – BAM – SHAZAM I’ve had a cleaning business for six years and was learning more than I imagined in this class. Lots of great info on how to start your own business. Detail King truly stands by it’s name. They are very supportive in all aspects. Nick Vacco listens to what your ideas are and is ready to guide you to your next step and help you with any of your questions. Paul Angell super nice and informal business man shows you about marketing and profit margin.

My favorite part was the hands on section when I got the chance to actually use the cleaning products and tools. They work like magic! I use cleaning chemicals every day and have tried many different types. These really do work and they have a pleasant smell. Being a woman, I was worried how I would be treated while training with men for a weekend but let me tell you these guys are all gentlemen. These gentlemen were ready to assist with any problem or question I had.

Alan Rich did a superb job training me on the outside detailing process. He owns his own business detailing so he’s the real deal. He can tell about what to look for and how to treat it and make it look new again. Jason Fung also did a superb job on training me on the third day on interior cleaning and detailing. He showed me how to use the extractor and steamer both of these tools are great and affective.The amount of dirt the extractor got from the floor mats… WOW!

Bill Bruno was so fun to learn something new from. He showed how to repair vinyl and leather, how to aerosol carpets and fix cigarette burns. These are all things I have never done before. Now I have confidence in trying out these new skills. I can’t say enough good about all of these guys Matt Cogley, Josh Baker, Nate Lutz, Nick long, Dan Reash and Gary Long very informative and great to be around. I had a great time at this class and learned a lot. I really recommend taking this class. Don’t let fear hold you back. This is a class where people really do care and want to see you excel. I attended the March 2015 Craftsman Class.

I attended the March 2015 Craftsman auto detailing course at Detail King and I couldn’t be happier that I pushed myself to attend. It’s more than worth the time and money for all that you learn in just a short amount of time. Nick and the training staff were amazing and answered any and all questions I had and were very informative. Not only did they teach me what I needed to know to become a successful detailing business owner but gave me the personal guidance I needed to succeed.

When Nick said we are like family I truly believe that. First I will start off saying I highly recommend the Detail King auto detailing training class to anyone looking to start or learn new ways to make your detailing business more efficient. The 3 day auto detailing course has helped me see a different perspective of detailing. I agree there is much information to absorb, but any question you might have after the training you can always contact someone at Detail King and they will help you and explain anything you might need.
