I attended the November 2017 Detail King 3 day Craftsman Program. It was a great education for me from the business aspect to hands on detailing training. The Detail King 2-day Auto detailing training program is an ABSOLUTE must for anyone looking to start up an auto detailing business and establish a great career opportunity. There are no words to describe how amazing and unforgettable this experience is. The Detail King team treated all of us like family and made sure to go above and beyond providing the best knowledge and answers for any questions you may have and also making sure to do the job correctly, and thoroughly.

During day 1 of the training seminar, Nick Vacco, Paul Angell, Bill Bruno, and the rest of the staff made every second count taking the time to go over everything they needed to explain and gave you all the time needed at the end for any questions you may have. The whole Detail King team will take all the time needed for anything you need help with. Day 2 of training was an incredible experience, there is no better way to learn than applying your knowledge from day 1 incorporated into day 2 hands on training.

I was apart of Bill’s team doing a full detail on the Toyota Highlander. It was very helpful having him there demonstrating correct use of each detailing tool and answering any of our questions. I would take this class over and over again just because the whole experience from start to finish is unforgettable. I am very grateful for this opportunity along with having all the tools and knowledge needed to go out there now excelling further with my mobile auto detailing business. This 2 day training was the best detail experience I have ever had. The Detail King staff  are amazing at training and making sure you are doing the job correctly. I would recommend Detail King to anyone looking to get into car detailing. The equipment I used was great and the staff made sure I understood all of the supplies, equipment, and polishes. Detail King by far has the best detailing waxes, sealants, polishes, etc.

The company’s products are biodegradable so it really helps put the ECO in detailing. When taking the business class the first day, I was really surprised on how much I did not know about the business aspect of detailing. When in the classroom, Nick Vacco and Paul Angell took their time explaining the best methods and procedures for starting and running a profitable auto detail business. My group focused on detailing the Kia Sorento, which in the end turned out to be a whole different car than we started with.

The products used really work, and they leave a long lasting effect. I plan on buying the Weekend Warrior business startup package to start my Detail business. Overall, it was a great experience. I attended the October seminar and got certified by Detail King! 

The Detail King Auto Detailing program is the way to go if you want a career. These guys know their stuff and are so professional. I’m looking forward to have a relationship with this company. This Detail King car detailing training October 2017 was perfect for somebody, such as myself, that is new to the detailing world and it takes the mystery out of the process and learn the right habits from day one. Fears of “messing up” either my own or someone else’s car are alleviated through this detailing training as they teach you the right way to use the right detailing tools and products.

All that said, there were several people already in the trade who seemed to learn as much as I did about proper technique and time saving tips to be able to make the most of your time. The business training on day 1 was also fantastic. Great trainers, great facility, highly recommend this training. I am now certified thru Detail King!

Having just started an actual auto detailing business rather than being a hobbyist, I am absolutely amazed at the various components of the business that I wasn’t aware of or completely neglected. Detail King, the staff, in addition to the outside detailers (Alumni) that came in for the sessions were an absolute pleasure. They were extremely knowledgeable and were extremely clear in transferring their knowledge. I recently got Detail King Certified October 2017.

Day 1, in my opinion, is where the rubber met the road. In starting any business, if you don’t already have the business acumen, you better figure out quickly what you don’t know. Detail king was able to provide the necessary tools in order for me to take back and begin working on developing the plan. From the various insurance needs, EPA requirements, advertising and marketing, to the building of the business plan, there were a bunch of small gaps that I didn’t really think about. By attending this session, I was able to bridge those gaps and understand that I have a lot of work to do. I am a true believer in not trying to reinvent the wheel. By following the guidance of the presented material, I will be able to be more profitable sooner. (Now to source funding….lol — ooooooooohh Nick!).

Day 2 was all about applied knowledge. As I have already been detailing, I understood all of the various tools and products needed in order to detail a vehicle. However, I was able to take away a bunch of tips and tricks in order to make my life a bit easier. I had quite a few a-ha moments which included the need to build processes within every step of the detailing cycle. More importantly, I was able to use the Detail King developed detailing solutions.

From the compound and polishes to the tire dressing and Final Touch Express Wax, they have exceptional products that I am switching to moving forward. And the fact that their products are eco-friendly is a huge plus in my book. Overall, what made the weekend for me was the people. Kudos to Nick Vacco, Paul Angell, Jason Fung, attendees, and the rest of the Detail King Team. Looking forward to many years of doing business together.

What an awesome 2 day hands on auto detailing Craftsman class at Detail King! I went in knowing some and came out doing much. These guys are absolutely professional, organization and procedures are the name of the game. Very knowledgeable and helpful from the side job hustler to the business oriented professional. These auto detailing classes at Detail King really made me want to go and review what I was thinking. The business side of this is bigger than I first thought, there is more to do, but by knowing about all this new information is better than thinking you’re right and you have nothing wrong. The auto detailing training I received at Detail King was beyond anything I expected. They are more than happy to pass on their knowledge to make us better at what we do. Friday was great learning about running a detailing business and branding it to separate your business from the competition.

Saturday we got to learn about exterior detailing procedures and products and to use all the detailing equipment available to us. Sunday was the interior cleaning, detailing and reconditioning day. The knowledge I gained has allowed me to do my job better.

When you search for things online and you get directed to websites you are often pulled in by companies more often than not unrealistic claims. The Detail King website is amazing and I put down my money for the 3 day detailing training course and was very excited to be doing it but expected that I would be underwhelmed once I was there. That did not happen.

From start to finish it was more than I could have ever expected. Nick Vacco and his team don’t just teach a course-they have lived the course so it’s real world experience and everyone of his people are fantastic to work with and knowledgeable with no BS! The business part of the class was educational and the hand out materials give you hard copies to help you remember because there is an awful lot to learn.

The hands on portion is fun and demanding and getting to work with people from all across the country with similar interests and goals makes it that much better. I still have much to learn running my own auto detailing business but Detail King has given me the tools and the support and the confidence I need to excel and it didn’t take me 5 years of trial and error to get to this point. At the risk of redundancy I can only echo the Detail King Testimonials of my classmates. I fully agree with them that the entire curriculum was far and away more than I expected. I would recommend the Detail King Auto Detailing School to anyone looking to learn the auto detailing trade. I was looking to learn the trade and detail a few vehicles a week to supplement my retirement income. I looked around at several detail schools and although Detail King was hours farther than some in New jersey, the quality of the website and the videos convinced me to enroll.

My intention wasn’t to go too far but Nick’s instruction and enthusiasm during his lecture on the first day has inspired me to start a small auto detailing business of my own. Shawn Strong and Steven Murray have written eloquently about the quality of the instruction, I would like to commend the Detail King staff for their expertise and patience during the two days of hands on training in the shop.
