You may recognize this red Mercedes 190E from our “Impossible Detail” video series — a vehicle so contaminated with dirt, mold, mildew, and oxidation that it became one of our most dramatic restorations. After cleaning it up and applying STS 3000 over a year ago, the protection had run its course. This time, we took it a step further by applying Jade Quartz ceramic coating to the exterior for superior protection and gloss.
In this new video, our team brings the red 190E back into the studio for another chapter in its revival story. This time, we’re showing what happens when you apply Jade Quartz to half of the hood and leave the other side unprotected.

From “Impossible” to Impressive
